I had lunch today with my former secretary and another former co-worker and it was a BLAST. She picked a nice place in Dallas so I had to actually dress up, which was fun to do now that I get to be schlumpy every day. It felt nice. I got to feed Cathy's four-month-old baby too, which was awesome. I had this amaaaazing salad that was seriously SO GOOD. I wish I had another bowl of it right now. In fact, I sort of wish I had a SWIMMING POOL full of it right now.

Another thing I wish I had a swimming pool full of is...WATER. While I was at lunch (and not paying attention to my phone) my landlord called to say that the water in my front yard was not in fact runoff from the rain, but a burst pipe. (He thinks it's the sprinkler system, I think it's the sewer, but WHATEVER.) In any case, they turned off all the water in my house and the plumber is coming over tomorrow afternoon. Which...whatever. It's inconvenient, but I'll manage. HOWEVER. Has a plumber EVER fixed something the same day he looked at it? NO. And I'm not going until Monday without water. NO WAY. So. Someone better figure something out fast.

And now, I want your opinions on some things:

1. Has anyone seen December Boys? It's Dan Radcliffe, so I wanted to watch it, but the Netflix envelope has been laying on my TV MOCKING ME for a month now. It just looks...depressing. Is it good? Worth watching? Anyone?

2. Recommendations for digital cameras?

3. If you only could watch ONE episode of Supernatural from now on, which would you choose and why? Feel free to argue your case.
