  • A Most Awesome Coach by dugindeep -- (Jared/Jensen, NC-17, 9,000 words) -- Jensen coaches pee wee soccer, coaches Jared's kid, and he's definitely not crushing on him. Seriously, he's not. Except, he totally is.

Come on, Jared as an adorable Dad...do you really need more? If so, this also is sweet and fun and has a slow build that grows to a perfect conclusion. Happy place!

  • I could stay with you by grace_fully -- (Jared/Jensen, PG-13, 3,600 words) -- It's their wedding day, and pretty much everything that could possibly go wrong goes wrong. Still, they're married! Also, a cake fight of epic proportions.

    Love, love, love, love, loooooove!

  • This Is The Ultimate by neros_violin -- (Jared/Jensen, NC-17, 17,600 words) -- Jensen is the UFC's Welterweight Champion, and the company's biggest star. He's also its most private. Jared is the writer assigned to help the public get to know him better. Jared is begrudgingly invited into Jensen's training camp, where Jensen is preparing for the biggest fight of his career, to get a better glimpse of his professional life. But Jared soon realizes he has a personal interest in Jensen. What they have, and the man Jensen doesn't realize he can be, are worth fighting for.

I really love the emotional connection the author builds here, it's both fragile and strong and really resonates. Also, I almost didn't read this because 1. sports and 2. violence, but I'm glad I did. It moved me to both smiles and tears...give it a shot, this fic is worth it!

  • Forced Entry by virtualpersonal and cha -- (Sam/Dean, NC-17) -- Captain Winchester doesn't like people messing around in his mind. He's had some run-ins with telepaths and he hates them all. Too bad he's been paired up to work with Sam Wesson, one of the highest rated Telepaths in the Tel Unit.

What I really like most about this fic is how the authors took SPN canon, and the characters of Sam and Dean and then twisted them to make a wholly new story. There are so many similarities and parallels, and I love when authors do that well. And the bit with the medallions just won't leave my mind, it's perfect.
