like a sound played again and again

Let me tell you, I love my job, but working 40 hours (plus 5 unpaid hours as we don't get paid for meals) and then spending 15 more hours a week in the car is getting OLD. I don't even know what's going on in my own life, let alone anyone else's. But, in a few months I will be unemployed again and that will be WORSE, so. Perspective, I guess.

I had Monday off and I met up with Mom and took her to run a bunch of her errands, which frankly, is exhausting. She rewarded me by ordering a new pair of glasses for me though. I'm very grateful.

I also had today off, here's what I did: got my hair cut and colored, went to Half Price Books to get some things for Addison's birthday, went to the library, the bank and the grocery store. Had my eyebrows waxed (the woman who does it: "Where have you been? This is BAD.") Put gas in my car. Then, I came home and did three loads of laundry. I cooked pasta and veggies, and also brown rice and black beans, so I have to stuff to take for lunch next week. I picked up my house, literally going through each room and getting all the junk put away. *flops*

When I was cooking, I cut my left middle finger pretty badly while chopping zucchini. I have a band-aid on it and I'm not looking until I take my shower later tonight. Denial heals, right?

I want to do a post about some awesome books I've been reading but I'm too tired right now. Perhaps in the morning.

What's up with you guys?
