marie_j_granger and 1orelei asked for the pumpkin cheesecake recipe I used (and which everyone who has eaten it LOVES), so here it is:
The hardest part of this recipe is remembering to set the cream cheese out early so it can soften. This is vital to the recipe success!
OK, so. Mix one package of softened cream cheese with one cup of canned pumpkin, half a cup of sugar and half a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Use an electric mixer, if you have one. Then, gently stir in about half a tub of completely thawed cool whip. Spoon the entire mixture into a graham cracker crust. Chill. Eat. Enjoy. Pretend this is really hard and that you need lots of praise for your efforts.
Someday I will post about non-food things. I do not know what is up with me lately. Nesting for winter, I guess.
Hey, do you think Sam and Dean celebrate Thanksgiving? "I give thanks no one we know is in Hell this year...whoops, sorry about that soul situation!" It is a holiday for pie, after all. You know Dean is into that.
Jared too. I bet he fills up three plates of food and then falls asleep in front of the TV. Jensen just smiles indulgently and covers him with a blanket, and then pretends that while cleaning up he doesn't take a bite out of each dish of food before putting it into the fridge.
Somehow I have pigeoned-holed Jared and Jensen into my parent's roles. 0_0 I don't know what just happened!! Someone write me a better J2 Thanksgiving scenario!
