Jared Padahipbone

Sunday Recs: Three J2 + Jared + Misc.

Ready for some Sunday recs and links? I AM!

  • Deep Thoughts and Pancakes by raeschae -- (Jared/Jensen, PG-13, 1,603 words) -- Jensen just wants to get to work on time, but Jared's so philosophical and half-naked in the mornings. Jensen's life is hard.

  • Early Arrival by insertcode11 -- (Jared/Jensen, NC-17, 6.054 words) -- Jensen arrives home early from his two-month temporary duty to surprise his husband.

  • Fuel the Fire by dugindeep -- (Jared/Jensen, NC-17, 1,900 words) -- Jared's hesitant to go for a ride. But it's Jensen, and he doesn't want to pass this moment.

  • The other day, denyce reminded me about the existence of this site: Jared Padalecki's Ass. YES PLEASE. That video makes me laugh every time, I love it! And let's face it, there's no day that can't be improved by smacking Jared's butt a little. Try it! You'll see. *cough*addictive*cough*

  • How amazingly FINE do the boys look at this con?? Good gravy. It's like, exponentially more handsome. I don't know how they do it! I just commented to missyjack that it is getting to the point where I'm starting to be afraid to look directly at Jared. Like, the only way to keep my sanity is to sort of gaze from the side. How does he just continue to get better looking every day, even after all this time??

IS IT TOO EARLY TO ASK FOR CON ICONS? I want them. *grabby hands*

Also, I really think someone should make these and send me a batch in the mail. *whistles innocently* Cookies with Homemade Nutella Chips.

AND, tsuki_no_bara linked me to a site I really like: thxthxthx. Every day the author writes a thank you note to something in her life. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes serious, but they always make me think. I like it!

Addison and Drew are coming to visit for a week in June! This is very, very exciting!

And now, it is getting dressed for work time! Later y'all. Happy Sunday!
  • SPN: Sam's Bright Smile

    shine a light on me

Work was great today. I helped a mom and her teen daughter figure out how to do innerlibrary loans on their own, the Youth assistant manager came downstairs just to say they missed me today, I helped a guy find a book on a really vague, narrow topic, AND I stole all the coupons out of the Sunday paper. In my spare time, I cruised food blogs.

When I got home, I put some goat cheese in a dish and doused it in olive oil. Then I put that in the oven, under the broiler. Meanwhile, I sliced some of the homemade bread I made last week and put that under the broiler too. When the bread got nice and crusty, I took it out and spread the warm goat cheese and olive oil on it and ate every bit. It was so freaking good. Seriously about the best thing I've eaten in recent memory. SO VERY, VERY GOOD.

I want to do some book recs but that'll have to wait until I've had some sleep. Night LJ!
