Second, here is the Magic Cookie Bar recipe I mentioned the other day. My Mom has made these since I was a baby, I'm pretty sure it was developed by Eagle Brand, back in the 1970s.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9X13 baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
Combine two cups graham cracker crumbs and a half a cup melted butter (I sometimes need a little more butter). Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour one 14 ounce can of Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer with two cups chocolate chips, one and a third cups flaked coconut and one cup chopped nuts. (My mom always used pecans, I prefer chopped almonds.) Press down firmly with a fork.
Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. You can cut them into bars or just cut and serve from the serving pan.
These can be stored at room temperature, or in the fridge.
Enjoy!
