Yesterday we had the therapy dogs at the library. They spread out in the Youth Center and kids read aloud to them. The dogs love the attention and the children think it's SO COOL. (They often choose reading to the dogs over getting on the computers, which is pretty revolutionary.)
Mom and Dad brought Addison and Drew to visit and they were awesome. Addison choose a book and she and I sat with each dog while she read it. (Note: she can read now, which is amazing to me, all on it's own. SHE CAN READ.) It was so fun! Drew was feeling a little under the weather, so when Addison and I were done, I held him and he snuggled right up against me for the rest of the time they were there.
It was just super fun to have my babies and my parents visit at work, and see something different and cool that we do. The kids are going back home today, so I'm sad about that too.
In other news, my boss has a weird thing about certain words. The other day she told me that she hates the word "kids" and that I wasn't allowed to use it in proposals anymore. I do not even know. But now every time I write that word, I feel guilt.
Ok anyway, whatever. I'm off to do something.
