nothing like your last guy, he too square for you

Do any of you read makeup blogs? Which ones do you like? Product reviews, tips and tricks...that's the sort of thing I'm looking for.

I currently am nomming on some delicious open-face-blueberry-cream-cheese-French-toast-THING my mom made and sent a leftover portion home with me the other day. HOLY CRAP IT IS DELICIOUS. I mean, drooooooool. So. Freaking. Good.

Today is my day off, and I had an adventure this morning! I decided to go into the Dallas area to visit the two thrift shops I loved most when I lived there. I wanted to go early and beat the heat, so left around 9:15 a.m., stopped briefly to pick up a caramel frap from Starbucks (this addiction must stop immediately) and then went on into Dallas. The traffic was easy, the construction was minimal, and I pulled up in the parking lot just as they were unlocking the doors. Unfortunately, I didn't find much, but that's ok.

I went on to the second store, and same drill -- didn't find much. All in all, I ended up with two flannel pillow cases (you may or may not know that I have an addiction issue with flannel pillow cases), four shirts, a plastic case I may keep makeup in, and a beautiful bowl that I already dropped in my garage and shattered. Alas.

Now I am home and back in PJs and eating food someone else made and sitting in the AC. It's delightful!
